About the Role

We are partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for its London-based project delivery function. This is a corporate-side role offering full commercial ownership across a diverse portfolio of capital projects. You'll work closely with project managers, design teams and senior client stakeholders, taking the lead on everything from early-stage budgeting through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed cost plans, budgets and cost reports, presenting findings to senior stakeholders
  • Produce concept-level estimates and feasibility cost advice to support business cases and funding approvals
  • Lead procurement activity and tender analysis, including bid levelling and written recommendations
  • Scrutinise, reconcile and negotiate change orders with contractors and third-party consultants
  • Manage capital funding and approval processes in line with internal governance requirements
  • Oversee third-party cost consultants where appointed
  • Support continuous improvement of cost management processes, tools and benchmarking data

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline
  • 2-4 years experience in a similar QS role
  • Strong numeracy and advanced Excel skills; confident with specialist commercial software
  • Clear written and verbal communicator, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
