About the role
Sentinel is partnering with an established project and programme management consultancy to find a driven Associate Director to grow their Life Sciences practice. This is a senior, client-facing position suited to someone who has experience delivering complex construction and infrastructure projects across the pharmaceutical, biotech, or broader life sciences sectors.
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of complex project commissions and contributing to major new build programmes across London and the South East
- Developing and executing a growth-focused business plan across public and private sector clients
- Building lasting relationships with clients, senior stakeholders, and supply chain partners
- Assembling and leading high-performing project teams, with clear accountability at every level
- Overseeing project delivery against time, cost, and quality objectives using appropriate methodologies
- Proactively identifying, monitoring, and mitigating project risks and issues
- Producing clear, evidence-based progress reporting for senior stakeholders
- Evaluating project outcomes and translating lessons into improved practice
Requirements
- Solid background delivering construction projects and programmes within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or broader life sciences sectors
- Experience within a consultancy environment
- Strong working knowledge of construction and engineering principles, including relevant design and compliance requirements
- An active network across the life sciences supply chain
