IT/OT Consultant & Architect

We are urgently seeking an IT/OT Consultant & Architect, for an initial 16-week position, starting immediately, that can be on client site in London 3 or 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities;
- Conduct multi-site OT assessments, maturity evaluations, and discovery activities across manufacturing facilities to establish the OT baseline, identify gaps, and define standardization opportunities.
- Lead workshops, site surveys, Gemba walks, and stakeholder interviews to analyze OT systems, industrial networks, data flows, PLC/Scada/Historian environments, and IT/OT integration landscapes.
- Define scalable OT Data Foundation and North-Star Reference Architectures encompassing edge, cloud, cybersecurity, integration, and enterprise manufacturing data platforms.
- Design and standardize OT information models, asset hierarchies, naming conventions, and governance frameworks to enable consistent, trusted, and interoperable manufacturing data across sites.
- Architect industrial connectivity and data integration solutions using OPC UA, MQTT, Historians, and Unified Namespace (UNS) principles to support Real Time data access, enterprise visibility, and AI-ready manufacturing ecosystems.
- Develop transformation roadmaps
