We are currently seeking an experienced Housing Implementation Consultant to support a 3-month remote contract assignment. This role will suit a strong functional consultant with hands-on experience delivering housing system implementations, particularly across service charges and rent accounting.
The Role
You will play a key role in the implementation and optimisation of a housing management platform, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into system solutions, and support configuration and delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders
- Documenting business requirements and process flows (As-Is/To-Be)
- Advising on best practice across service charges and rent accounting modules
- Supporting system configuration and functional design
- Facilitating UAT and resolving functional queries
- Acting as the bridge between technical teams and operational housing teams
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Housing Implementation Consultant or Functional Consultant
- Strong commercial knowledge of service charges (budgeting, apportionment, reconciliation)
- Hands-on experience with rent accounting/rent ledger processes
- Experience working with a recognised housing management system/platform (eg Civica, NEC/Northgate, Aareon, MRI, Orchard, etc.)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
