Leading full lifecycle cost management on refurbishment and new-build projects
Preparing detailed estimates, cost plans, and cashflows using NRM methodologies
Leading procurement and tender processes, including tender analysis and value-for-money reporting
Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contract documentation (NEC & JCT) and overseeing contract administration
Managing costs during construction, including valuations, variations, and comprehensive cost reporting to clients
Attending project and site meetings as the primary client contact
Driving value engineering and structured risk management workshops
Managing and mentoring junior team members, ensuring high-quality delivery across packages/projects
Taking ownership of project financial performance, fee management, and early identification of commercial or delivery risks

6–10+ years experience in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management within consultancy or client-facing environments
Chartered (RICS/CIOB) or near completion of chartership
Proven experience delivering projects across all stages of construction
Strong ability to negotiate NEC & JCT contract terms with contractors and clients
Experience managing two-stage procurement processes
Leadership experience, including mentoring junior staff and overseeing project teams
Excellent commercial awareness, client management, and communication skills
