Our role is to provide cost management support across projects from early feasibility through to completion. We deliver complex construction projects in regulated environments, including healthcare, life sciences and technical facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting full lifecycle cost management on refurbishment and new-build projects
  • Preparing estimates, cost plans, and cashflows using NRM methodologies
  • Assisting with procurement and tender processes, including tender analysis and value-for-money reporting
  • Preparing contract documentation and supporting contract administration (NEC & JCT)
  • Tracking costs during construction, including valuations, variations, and cost reporting
  • Attending project and site meetings and supporting client reporting
  • Contributing to value engineering and risk management exercises

Skills & Experience:

  • 3-6 years experience in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management, ideally in a consultancy or client-facing environment
  • Good understanding of UK procurement routes and contracts (NEC / JCT)
  • Strong commercial awareness and clear communication skills
  • Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Working towards Chartership (RICS / CIOB)
  • Beneficial: experience in life sciences, higher education, or healthcare sectors
