About the Role: Sentinel is partnering with a leading global consultancy to find an experienced real estate professional to join their specialist advisory team, focused on health, life sciences and wider public sector clients. This is a pivotal, senior hire combining new business development with high-quality strategic real estate advice across a growing regional client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Client Relationships: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across NHS, life sciences, public sector and wider institutional clients. Build and maintain strong client relationships, positioning the team as the go-to advisor for complex estate challenges. Contribute to bids, proposals and presentations, bringing commercial creativity and sector insight. Represent the team at client meetings, industry events and forums.
- Advisory & Delivery: Provide strategic estate and real estate advice to clients across complex, multi-site portfolios. Lead development appraisals, options appraisals and associated financial/commercial modelling. Advise on asset and portfolio strategy, including disposals, acquisitions and lettings. Support clients on planning and regeneration matters, liaising with local authorities and delivery partners. Work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team including cost consultants, healthcare planners, project managers, town planners and sustainability advisors.
- Team & Practice: Take an active leadership role in growing the regional team, mentoring and developing colleagues. Contribute to the continued growth and positioning of the wider real estate advisory practice. Ensure quality and commercial rigour across all work delivered.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Qualified to RICS standard (general practice/real estate background desirable).
- Proven experience in real estate consultancy, asset management or estates advisory - health, life sciences or public sector experience strongly preferred.
- A track record of both delivering complex commissions and contributing to business development.
- Strong commercial acumen and senior client relationship management.
- Familiarity with public sector or institutional estate challenges (funding mechanisms, governance, decision-making cycles) advantageous.
