About the Opportunity
We are working with a global consultancy to support the growth of their Health project management team in London. The team focuses on capital infrastructure projects and programmes, primarily for NHS clients, as well as some private health organisations. This role is suited to a candidate at the early stages of their career, seeking to develop within a specialist team delivering capital projects across the health sector, including hospitals, clinics, and research facilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of health sector projects across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to handover
- Assist in the coordination of project teams and delegation of tasks
- Support the monitoring of project risks and issues, and assist with mitigation planning
- Assist in tracking project progress against programme, budget, and quality metrics
- Support stakeholder communication and reporting across live commissions
- Gain exposure to industry-standard project management methodologies and procedures
Requirements
- Degree in a construction, engineering, project management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Some exposure to construction/built environment projects
- Willingness to work towards a recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM), supported by the business
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Interest in the health sector and capital project delivery
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
