Our client in Blackheath, Cape Town is looking for an experienced and qualified 10-Ton Forklift Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will have proven experience operating 10-ton forklifts and be confident in handling heavy materials safely and efficiently.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified/Certified Forklift Operator
- Valid forklift operating certification/licence
- Proven experience operating 10-ton forklifts
- Previous experience in heavy material handling
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
- Ability to safely load, unload and move heavy materials
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good safety awareness and attention to detail
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a 10-ton forklift
- Load, unload and move heavy materials
- Handle and position materials safely and efficiently
- Complete daily/pre-operation forklift inspections
- Report mechanical faults or safety concerns
- Maintain a safe and organised work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational instructions
- Assist with general material-handling duties when required
