About the RoleSentinel Group Security Ltd is recruiting for an experienced and professional Mobile Patrol Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious, gated residential community spanning 140 acres.This is a very active role, driving and walking the grounds giving a feeling of comfort to the residents and acting as a deterrent to those who should not be on site.This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to respond effectively to a wide range of situations. You will represent both our company and the client, ensuring the highest standards of safety, vigilance and service at all times.Hours of Work:
- 42 per week
- Working a 4 on 4 off roster
- Days and nights
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular mobile and foot patrols across a large private residential estate.
- Record access/egress at the gatehouse for all visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
- Provide visible security presence and reassurance to residents and the public by way of foot and mobile patrols
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and emergencies β including first response to medical or fire-related events.
- Maintain accurate Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) and incident reporting.
- Report maintenance or safety issues and liaise with management as required.
- Operate professionally and courteously in all interactions with residents and visitors.
What Weβre Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor preferred due to the nature of the role).
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Prior experience in mobile patrol, residential or community-based security is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently across a large site with professionalism and integrity.
- Physically fit and confident conducting foot patrols over a large area.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering a high standard of service.
