Do you have what it takes to be a Relief Security Officer with SGS? We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Relief Security Officer to join our team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced security professionals looking for flexible work within a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

Shift times: 19:00-07:00, 12-hour shifts. The site operates 7 days a week, and you will be required to work a day and night rotation. This is a customer facing role and we are seeking candidates who are able to work:

  • Work night shift and provide security services
  • Protect the customer's employees, property and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements.

To work with us you will need to be confident, articulate and communicate well both orally and in written language. Although demanding, a Part Time Security Officer role with SGS will allow you to demonstrate your exemplary customer service skills as you engage with customers, clients and visitors throughout each shift, whilst remaining alert to security issues and keeping everyone safe.

Essential Skills
  • Must hold a valid SIA Security Guarding / Door Supervisor License.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have a five year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment or full and part-time education during that period.
  • DBS check.
