What you’ll be doing
The primary focus of the Security Officer role is the delivery of security tasks, requiring industry standard knowledge of security activities.
Hours of work: 36 hours per week, permanent.
Days of Work: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 1 week days and 1 week nights rotation, 12 hour shifts.
There will be the potential of overtime as required by the client.
The security team have a wide range of responsibilities such as:
- Static guarding & patrolling
- Search of Female staff members and vehicles
- Visitor management
- Emergency response
- Mail examination & Vehicle loading / unloading
Successful applicants will be required to work days/nights as necessary to ensure continuity of the site 24×7 shift pattern.
Minimum Criteria
- A valid front-line SIA Licence
- Prior experience working as a Security Officer, Police, Military or in a similar environment
- Excellent customer focus
- Articulate and able to communicate well, both written and verbally
- Presentable and smart at all times
- Work effectively as an individual without supervision
- Excellent team player
- A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity
- Confident in interacting with high level visitors and management
Desirable Criteria
- Security Check (SC Clearance) Home Office or similar
Please Note
If you do not hold an active SC or DV clearance currently, please familiarise yourself with the vetting process before applying. Successful appointment will require clearance prior to commencement of the role and the process can take up to 12 weeks.
