The Hospital-based Violence Intervention Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for programmatic oversight and management of a multi-disciplinary hospital-based violence intervention program dedicated to reducing re-injury and mortality rates among youth and adults. The program coordinator will develop a trauma-informed program that incorporates social determinants of health.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, Social Work/LCSW, or related fields required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of community health experience.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.

Located in Norfolk, VA, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that houses the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads. It serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
