Overview:
Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking an Senior Echocardiographer to join the Non-invasive Lab Team!
Shift: Full-Time – 8 hour shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm.Call Required.
Position Overview:
Unit has 5 rooms for Echos. Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and willalso work with patients at the bedside.
Required Education:
- Bachelor\’s Level Degree, Associate\’s Level Degree – CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma.
- Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes
License and Certifications:
- Basic Life SupportRequired
- Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.
Other:
- At least 3 years of echocardiographer experience
