Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Senior Echocardiographer to join the Non-invasive Lab Team!

Shift: Full-Time - 8 hour shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Call Required.

Position Overview: Unit has 5 rooms for Echos. The Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. The Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and will also work with patients at the bedside.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree, Associate’s Level Degree - CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma. Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes.

License and Certifications: Basic Life Support Required. Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.

Other: At least 3 years of echocardiographer experience.
