Overview: System-wide Traveler with an expansive benefit package, flexible permanent full-time hours, premium pay, and differentials. This is a full-time permanent position with benefits and premium pay (this is not a temporary contract). Earn $15 more per hour based on specialty compared to working at one hospital. Assignments are 6-12 weeks long.
Seeking RNs with the ability to travel to all 12 Sentara hospitals based on greatest need including: Southside and Peninsula Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Halifax, and Albemarle (NC).
For assignments greater than 75 miles from home:
- Block scheduling (home in between weekly blocks)
- Meal reimbursement
- Lodging provided
- Pay for travel time
- Rental car or mileage reimbursement
- Earn hotel and rental points
We are currently seeking RNs with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical or Stepdown Intermediate Care, rotating shifts.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of consecutive recent RN experience in Stepdown Intermediate Care or Medical Surgical acute care within the past 2 years.
Certification/Licensure:
- Valid RN license
Education:
- RN Diploma
