City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift Rotating Overview: Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking an Echocardiographer to join the Non-invasive Lab Team! Shift: Part-Time – 8 hour shifts rotating between 6am to 5pm. Position Overview: Unit has 5 rooms for Echos. Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. Will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU, and bedside with patients. Required Education: Bachelor\’s or Associate\’s Degree in CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY or High School Diploma. Echo Tech experience can substitute for education. License and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS, or RCS) required within 12 months of hire. Other: At least 1 year of echocardiographer experience preferred.
