Overview:
Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician. Provides patient and family education, operates equipment safely, completes department documentation, maintains all equipment to be clean and operational, and manages supply inventory for examinations.
Requires advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire (including mergers and acquisitions). ARRT or CNMT certification is required. Staff within Sentara CarePlex must obtain CT registry by 11/1/2016.

Located in Norfolk, VA, Sentara Leigh Hospital is a 274-bed acute care facility established in 1903 and relocated in 1977. It underwent a major renovation in 2016, including new patient towers, an atrium, and a multi-story parking garage. The hospital features a dedicated Orthopedic Hospital, accredited Primary Stroke Center, Magnet designation for nursing excellence, and specializes in orthopedic and spine care, heart, vascular, maternity, and general surgery. It also hosts the region\’s only 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program to aid healing of various conditions.
