Sentara is hiring a Cardiac Surgical Technologist I for Sentara\’s Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.
Sign on Bonus: Up to $25,000 offered for experienced cardiac candidates.
Role Summary:
The Surgical Technologist ensures the operating room is prepared with necessary instruments and assists the surgical team by passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, and anticipating the surgeon\’s needs. Responsibilities include maintaining patient safety, organizing and sterilizing the environment, applying dressings, securing surgical drapes, transferring patients to recovery, and adhering to infection control protocols. The role requires close collaboration with the surgical team to facilitate smooth procedures.
Minimum Licensure: Surgical Technologist Licensure in the state of practice.

Certification/Licensure:
- Virginia Surgical Technologist License REQUIRED
