Sentara Urgent Care Lightfoot is now hiring a Full‑Time Patient Care Specialist based in Williamsburg, VA! The clinic operates from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday‑Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. The schedule consists of two 12‑hour shifts: one 8‑hour shift and one 6‑hour shift, with alternating weekends.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries.
- Provide non‑clinical support within a physician’s office to ensure an excellent patient experience.
Education & Experience
- HS diploma required; associate degree or higher acceptable in lieu of experience.
- Minimum 3 years of customer‑service experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with health‑insurance plans, medical records data, medical terminology, registration, scheduling, or third‑party payers.
