We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Occupational Health Advisor, working approximately 15 hours per week. This role may increase in hours depending on client demands, and involves working both on the Isle of Wight and at other locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement occupational health policies.
- Triage and manage occupational health referrals.
- Advise managers on health interventions and adjustments.
- Provide specialist advice on medical matters and the Equality Act.
- Prepare reports and maintain health records.
- Attend meetings to offer expert occupational health advice.
- Coordinate health surveillance and immunization programs.
- Deliver health and wellbeing training sessions.
- Maintain professional development as per NMC requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Experience in occupational health, preferably in the public sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
- Proficiency in report preparation and record-keeping.
- Experience in delivering health and wellbeing training.
