Job Description: Optical Branch Manager

Are you an experienced Dispensing Optician searching for a new and exciting opportunity in management?
I am working with an independant family owned company who beleive their people are the key to their success, and are actively searching for a Branch Manager to join their team situated in Raeding. This is a full time position, and will include Saturday working.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations and management of the optical branch
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch targets
  • Manage and train a team of optical staff
  • Schedule and coordinate staff shifts and assignments
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Generate sales reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other branches and departments to optimize overall business performance

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in optical retail or management role
  • Qualified Dispensing Optician
  • Fully Registered with the GOC
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Knowledge of optical products, services, and industry trends
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in computer software and basic financial management
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
