Role Summary: As a Clinical Audiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional ear care services to adult clients. You will be responsible for diagnostic audiometry, hearing aid fitting and aftercare, ear cleaning using microsuction, tinnitus assessment and management, and more. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, empathy, and a passion for improving clients' quality of life through audiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic audiometry and hearing aid fitting, verification, and aftercare.
- Take ear impressions and conduct ear cleaning using the microsuction technique.
- Assess and manage tinnitus cases.
- Deliver virtual audiology services with proficiency in technology and cloud-based systems.
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards and ensure clinical governance.
- Build long-term, patient-centric relationships with clients.
Technical Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Audiology or equivalent.
- HCPC registration.
- Minimum 6 months of experience as an Audiologist within the NHS (including bank work with references).
- Strong motivation to become skilled in microsuction.
- Proficiency with technology, including hardware, software, cloud-based services, and shared documents.
