About this role

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer (main back end focus) to work on our advertising analytics platform. We gather and process BIG amounts of data and deliver meaningful insights to our customers. We have browser extensions, databases, panelists, servers, so many servers, and a great hybrid culture with coworkers locally and across the globe.

There's a good mix of extremely difficult problems, impossible problems, easy problems, bugs, performance issues, and the occasional thing that's a joy to work on – join us!

What you will do in a typical day:

  • Tackle interesting performance and scalability challenges.
  • Meticulously refactor bunches of reports decimating code size and run time while preserving results.
  • Intelligently manage tech debt while simultaneously delivering new features for the business.
  • Code in SQL and C# (and occasionally js) in a mixed environment (Windows and Linux but mostly Windows) utilizing AWS, SQL Server, Redshift, Mongo, EntityFramework and ASP.NET Core.
  • Participate in a Kanban/Devops dev process with fluid requirements, weekly scrums, and potentially be on-call w/Pagerduty.
  • Be a proponent for continuous improvement, architecture, clean code, and good systems design.
  • We use Github for source control and Jira for project management. We review PRs! (usually) and ship often.

What you can bring:

  • Experienced C# developer.
  • Be able to code in C#, SQL and occasionally in Ruby.
  • Big Plus: Comfortable reading and modifying Javascript/React.
  • Friendly - You will be working in cross function with a lot of cool people!
  • Love for data - Our platform provides data intelligence for the digital economy!

Our Engineering Culture

We believe that "Simplicity is a prerequisite for reliability." We are looking for engineers who align with our core values:

  • Simplicity: We avoid over-engineering. We prefer the tools we already have and the most straightforward solutions over "shiny new toys."
  • Quality: We write code that is a pleasure to read because we know code is written once but read many times. We don't cut corners, and we polish to a high level before shipping.
  • Extreme Ownership: We don't just do the minimum. We expect you to understand the "why" behind your work and own the ultimate goal of fixing problems at their root cause, avoiding temporary band‑aids.
  • Prioritization: We focus relentlessly on what is important, not just what is urgent.
