ABOUT SENSO
Senso is a specialist in the production, distribution and installation of seamless, sustainable flooring systems.
Our work combines natural materials, design-led finishes and advanced biopolymer technology across high-end commercial and residential interiors.
THE ROLE
As Project Lead, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple live projects across London and the surrounding area.
This is a hands-on role combining project management, site coordination, commercial control, client communication and quality assurance.
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Own projects from handover by Sales through pre-start, programme, installation, completion, snagging and final close-out.
- Site & Installer Management: Plan and coordinate installation teams, site attendance, access, sequencing, logistics, materials and day-to-day delivery.
- Pre-Start Planning: Review site readiness, substrates, interfaces, programme constraints and project information before works commence; identify risks early and agree actions.
- Client & Main
- Contractor
Communication: Act as the principal day-to-day contact for clients, contractors and design teams, providing clear updates on progress, programme, requirements and issues.
- Commercial & Payment
Control: Maintain visibility of project budgets, variations, additional works, invoicing milestones, retention and outstanding payments, escalating commercial risks promptly.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect works throughout delivery, drive consistent workmanship and ensure defects and snagging are recorded, allocated and closed efficiently.
- Problem Solving & Remedials: Take ownership when issues arise, establish the cause, coordinate the right technical or remedial response and keep all parties informed through to resolution.
- Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records including key decisions, site communications, variations, photographs, snagging, costs and handover information.
- Continuous
Improvement: Feed lessons learned from live projects back into planning, installation standards and internal processes to reduce avoidable defects and improve delivery.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in construction project management, site management or a closely related delivery role.
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage several projects, priorities and deadlines at the same time.
- Confident, professional communication with clients, main contractors, designers, installers and internal teams.
- Commercial awareness - comfortable tracking project costs, variations, invoicing, payment milestones and the financial impact of delivery decisions.
- A proactive approach to site readiness, risk identification, quality control and defect prevention rather than simply reacting to problems.
- Calm and practical problem-solving when programmes change or site issues arise, with the confidence to take ownership and drive a resolution.
- High attention to detail, particularly around finishes, interfaces, handover standards and written project records.
- An interest in architecture, interior design, sustainable materials and high-quality construction.
- A flexible approach to working across London and surrounding areas, with site attendance forming a key part of the role.
- WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Projects are properly prepared before installers arrive on site.
- Programmes, materials, labour and client expectations are actively managed rather than left to drift.
- Variations and commercial issues are identified and documented early.
- Quality is checked during the works, not only at the end.
- Snagging and remedial items are closed quickly, professionally and with clear ownership.
- Clients receive consistent communication and Senso projects are delivered with strong commercial and quality control.
- WHY JOIN SENSO
- Work on distinctive, design-led commercial and residential projects across London and beyond.
- Join an ambitious specialist business where the Project Lead has genuine ownership and influence over project delivery.
- Work with innovative, seamless flooring systems focused on sustainability, craftsmanship and long-term performance.
- Competitive package including company vehicle and phone, with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
