As a Key Account Manager Food Colors, you will maintain and grow relationships with customers to pursue profitable growth opportunities in assigned key customer accounts and new clients across Europe. This position is a home based role in Germany, the UK, The Netherlands, or Belgium, as the focus is on pan-European accounts.
What you'll do:
- Sell our top-shelf, value-added food colors portfolio across all food & beverage categories.
- Drive strategic growth across pan-European key accounts by expanding existing customer relationships and penetrating new business opportunities within existing and with focus on new target accounts.
- Develop deep, multi-level engagement across regional operations, manufacturing sites, and product categories to identify, secure, and convert high-value project and sales opportunities while strengthening long-term account partnerships.
- Develop and execute account business plans that outline customer strategies, requirements, sales forecasts, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate and work closely with all departments, R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing, QC/QA, and Finance, to ensure superior service for customers and prospects.
- Grow and manage a pipeline of projects, consistently following up to bring them to the finish line successfully.
What you'll bring:
- Relevant Technical or Sales experience in food B2B environment.
- A strategic approach to developing business and winning new accounts along with the drive and passion to win!
- Ability to navigate large accounts and partner with key decision makers for innovative new product development projects, which requires savvy at selling technical, value-added solutions to a professional audience.
- Fluency in English is a must. Additional European languages would be a plus.
- Ability to travel regularly across your territory and other EU countries to visit clients, and trade shows.
