Join to apply for the Quality Laboratory Technician role at Sensient Technologies Corporation. The position is located in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, and requires onsite presence five days a week.
You will be preparing samples for testing and performing testing as received and/or produced at the facility. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with complex mixtures isolated from various products.
What you will do:
- Prepare samples for testing, test samples and calibrate instruments
- Perform daily chemical analysis on related raw material and manufactured products
- Prepare all related products for sensory assessment
- Conduct chemical extractions on selected botanical ingredients
- Follow GMP and assist in EMP procedures in line with company policy and business objectives
- Maintain and enter numerical/data records of all analyses and reference samples
You will have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry or another science discipline
- Necessary skill and experience in the food or flavor sector is desirable
- Capability to work to GMP standards
