Production Assistant Team Leader

As assistant shift leader you will be a point of contact for operators. Knowledge sharing will be key in the drive to standardise ways of working amongst other operators. Daily tasks will be completed in line with site GMP and HSE standards whilst optimising output.

What you’ll do:

1. Train, develop and advise operators maximising quality and productivity
2. Monitor production processes and methods, propose improvements and problem formulations for production difficulties
3. Contribute to C.I. projects as required using lean framework including PDCA methodology
4. Collaborate with Planning, Quality Control & Warehousing departments to ensure plan adherence and service levels achieved
5. Notify Engineering and raise job cards with any maintenance tasks
6. Ensure Inventory quantity remains accurate and provide support in data entry for JDE

What you’ll bring:

1. You are safety focused and have knowledge of GMP and food hygiene systems/procedures
2. You have experience managing teams in a production environment
3. You bring knowledge of lean principles and tools
4. You are fluent in ERP systems preferably JDE and in MS Office
