The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager on a fixed‑term basis for 12 months. You will lead and deliver industrial engineering projects to support the site’s development and optimisation, coordinate all CAPEX investment and ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering projects (new equipment installation, renewal of shopfloor, facilities upgrade, etc.)
- Oversee the full project life cycle: feasibility, design, installation, commissioning and handover to operations
- Utilise Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and other Lean techniques to monitor and assess the effectiveness of the maintenance team, driving improved equipment and plant effectiveness
- Manage engineering and maintenance cost budgets within the agreed limits set by the Operations Director
- Control all contractors working on site, maintaining all relevant Permits to Work and RAMs through a Contractor Management System
- Implement innovative solutions to modernise equipment and infrastructure
- Work closely with the EHS Lead to directly manage all aspects of plant & equipment maintenance in respect of all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and implement programmes that ensure such plant and equipment remains fully inspected, tested, safe to operate and fully insured by the company’s risk assessment advisors
