We are looking for a Cost Accountant to join our team in King's Lynn. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment and contribute to accurate financial reporting and process excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the General Ledger of the Industrial UK and Pointing Companies
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial accounts and reports
- Develop and improve accounting controls
- Prepare statutory accounts for the Pointing Group at each financial year end
- Liaise with External Auditors and HMRC
- Prepare and review month-end reconciliations
- Calculate product costs and maintain and control the inventory cost database
- Ensure compliance with Corporate transfer-pricing policy and liaise with affiliate sites regarding new and revised transfer prices for both sales and purchases
- Attend and participate in regular meetings with BU managers and represent the Finance function in Site Coordination Meetings to review and discuss key KPIs, company performance and areas for improvement
- Manage the payroll process for the Industrial UK company
Qualifications:
- Professional accountancy qualification or qualified by experience
- Previous experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
