What you’ll do
- Be part of the Flavors Europe team and have a proven range of effective communication to all levels.
- Lead any contact with external regulatory bodies including the Health and Safety Executive and the Environment Agency.
- Help deploy and co‑ordinate EHS best practices across the site.
- Improve EHS visibility, and compliance to and awareness of Sensient EHS policies, standards, aspirations and commitments.
- Develop a Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) programme and support site EHS strategy.
- Manage the relationship with the HSE and Environmental Agency and represent the company in dealing with outside bodies or agencies, ensuring corporate notification and involvement if required.
What you’ll bring
- Knowledge and experience working with UK EHS regulations.
- Must have working knowledge of the HAZOP assessment process.
- NEBOSH National Diploma qualification.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferably technical background).
- Candidates with Grad IOSH status working towards Chartered status will be considered.
- Environmental or Health & Safety membership and/or experience with any nationally recognised body (e.g., IEMA, Green Dragon, RoSPA, ISO, OHSAS, etc.).
