Lead all activities related to proposal preparation according to Bid Document/ITT requirements and establish a winning strategy. Prepare, develop and manage proposal documents in coordination with all stakeholders. Evaluating suppliers bid and making appropriate recommendations. Analyzes the proposal schedule & cost, monitors progress and highlights potential risks for on time delivery of bids. Coordinate full handover to the Project team after award of contract. Interface with customer/suppliers resolving bid clarifications. Review of RFQ’s and bid summaries. Reviewing proposals for alternative vendors. Provide leadership and guidance to procurement representatives. Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and new tasks. Willing to walk extra mile as and when necessary. Lead Inquiry to Order (ITO)/Order to Remittance(OTR) handoff process for all awarded projects. Review customer order for acceptance and ensure alignment to actual bid details. Prepare estimates and cost study presentation, comparisons and reconciliations. Implement won/loss meeting on unsuccessful opportunities. Proposal team career management.
Qualifications
Experienced Technical Commercial professional engineer with 15 years’ experience from EPC/large scale oil and gas projects in sales and tender, project & contract management, engineering, interface management, and procurement. Hands on experience in tender preparation, bid organization, Lead bid clarification, lead contractual and commercial discussions, functional alignment with key stakeholders, review and approval of bid check list, planning and scheduling of bids, ITO risk review. Experience with EPC and Production Companies related to Petrochemical, Process, Refinery and Oil & Gas for onshore and offshore applications. Conversant with NORSOK, AGA, ISO, ASME, API, ASTM, OIML, TEMA, NACE and other international standards.
