We are currently looking for a Petroleum Engineer to join a growing team within our UKNE region. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable products and services to our customers. The Petroleum Engineer actively participates in promoting new technology and services offerings and supports Sensia’s digital solutions business unit.
Responsibilities
- Understand the North Sea Oil and Gas business and create technical solutions and innovative workflows to support our clients with their day-to-day production monitoring and surveillance of O&G assets.
- Actively explore opportunities to sell support and products in co-operation with the Production Team Leader.
- Understand the competition’s technical offering.
- Participate in external technical societies and communities.
- Contribute, write, and review technical publications.
- Engage with local universities, customer institutes and research organizations.
- Provide technical support on Oil Field Manager (OFM) to our customers via support portal, and onsite visits.
- Conduct technical workshops and training on OFM focused on petroleum engineering and provide expertise throughout the Sales and Product and Service Delivery process.
Qualifications Experience
- Bachelors or master’s degree in Petroleum, Reservoir Engineering, or related fields.
- Production data management system (PDMS) experience (Avocet preferred), not a requirement but an added advantage.
- Knowledge of relational databases, Python, or other types of programming languages.
- Strong data analysis, project management, and communication skills.
- Oil Field Manager (OFM) experience.
- Production Engineering.
- Production Operations.
