If you're looking for a role that's fast‑paced, people‑focused, and full of variety, this could be your next step. As a Projects Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our Projects team – keeping the diary running smoothly, supporting engineers, and helping deliver essential fire‑protection projects across the South. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with diary‑management or coordination experience who wants to grow, learn, and make a real impact. You'll work closely with Project Managers, engineers, and senior leaders, becoming a key part of a team that values collaboration, problem‑solving, and getting things done.
What you will be doing:
- Coordinating project diaries – scheduling jobs, managing changes, and keeping everything running to plan.
- Supporting engineers – allocating the right people to the right jobs and checking schedules for the days ahead.
- Keeping projects moving – working with Project Managers to meet KPIs and ensure smooth delivery.
- Handling documentation – reviewing worksheets, assisting with RAMS, and keeping records accurate and organised.
- Financial admin – approving purchase ledger items and supporting cost‑efficient planning.
- Being the communication hub – liaising with clients, engineers and internal teams to keep everyone informed.
A typical week might include: checking the next day’s engineering schedule, reshuffling the diary after a last‑minute cancellation, supporting a Project Manager with document control, approving purchase ledger items, and helping the team hit their weekly targets.
Who we are looking for:
- Diary management experience – you’ve juggled busy schedules before and can stay calm under pressure.
- A confident communicator – friendly, clear, and comfortable speaking with engineers, clients and colleagues.
- Organised and detail‑driven – you spot mistakes, keep things tidy and stay on top of competing priorities.
- Resilient and proactive – you bounce back quickly and enjoy solving problems.
- Tech‑comfortable – confident using MS Office and happy to learn new systems.
- Keen to grow – interested in developing your knowledge of fire‑industry compliance and project delivery.
If you don’t tick every box, that’s okay – we’re looking for potential, attitude and willingness to learn.
Why come and work for us:
- Training & development – grow your skills, gain qualifications and build your career.
- Clear progression – real opportunities to move up as we grow.
- Family‑friendly policies – generous maternity, paternity and adoption support.
- Wellbeing support – Medicash, mental‑health resources and a culture that cares.
- Inclusive culture – a team where you’re valued, supported and heard.
- Generous annual leave – including your birthday off.
- Pension scheme – helping you plan for the future.
- Employee discounts – savings on everyday essentials.
- Referral scheme – earn rewards for great recommendations.
If you’re looking to build your career with a forward‑thinking company that makes a real difference – to people’s safety and to the planet – we’d love to hear from you.
