Your next role
We’re looking for a confident and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our Finance team at Senseco. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will play a key part in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial control across the business. This is an opportunity to take ownership of management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while also leading and developing a small finance team. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing insight, challenge, and clarity to help drive performance and support continued growth.
What you will be doing
- Leading the preparation of monthly management accounts, including clear and insightful commentary
- Coordinating balance sheet submissions and month-end processes in line with group deadlines
- Producing monthly reporting and variance analysis for divisional leaders
- Managing, mentoring, and developing a small finance team, promoting collaboration and accountability
- Establishing, documenting, and maintaining financial policies and procedures across the group
- Owning divisional budgeting and forecasting, supporting group planning requirements
- Providing financial oversight on tax compliance, audits, and external reporting, working with advisors as required
- Leading and contributing to ad-hoc projects and continuous process improvements
A typical week might include reviewing management accounts, meeting with divisional leaders to discuss performance, supporting team development, liaising with external partners, and progressing improvement initiatives.
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for an experienced finance professional who combines technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA), or be a finalist, with at least 5 years relevant experience
- Previous leadership or people-management experience
- Strong Excel skills and experience using Sage 50
- Experience working with group accounts and within a multi-divisional or multi-entity environment
- The confidence to influence, challenge, and support stakeholders across the business
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
- A proactive, flexible approach with a strong work ethic
