It\’s an exciting time at Sense, we are now looking for Support Workers to join our service in Barnet, London.
These are permanent positions, working 30 or 37.5 hours per week. Our shift patterns are generally 7.30am to 14.30pm and 14.00pm to 21.30 pm, including some bank holidays, with alternate weekends off!
We are a small group of 4 flats in a cul de sac located in Barnet, London. We support 16 people, 1 flat is single, the others are home to 4 – 6 people. The individuals we support are from 28 to 61 years old, most are fully mobile and are blind deaf with complex needs, with some behaviour that challenges.
You must also hold a Full UK driving license to provide transport for individuals at the service.
We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
- Positive, with a can-do attitude.
- Caring and empathetic.
- Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
- Willing to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent (or already have one).
- Some knowledge of BSL would also be desirable for this role.
- Have completed the Care Certificate or are willing to complete in role.
