Looking for a new challenge? Sense is recruiting Support Workers for our Kingstanding residential service. Roles are permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week).
Our home has 5 bedrooms, supporting individuals with complex needs such as sensory impairments, learning disabilities, and mobility impairments. We provide a thorough induction and ongoing support.
Support involves assisting with activities and wellbeing events, including trips to resource centres, adapted cycling, swimming, bowling, ice skating, rock climbing, sailing, meals out, pub visits, walks, and visits to natural sites. Staff also organize holidays in the UK and abroad.
A full manual UK driving license is required for using company vehicles for appointments and activities outside the home. Shift patterns include 7am-2.30pm, 2pm-9.30pm, and sleep-in shifts from 9:15pm-7:15am.
