You don’t need any previous experience to become a support worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our Support Worker roles at our Residential Service in King's Norton. This is a permanent role with both Part time and Full time contracts available, working up to 37.5 hours per week. As a Support Worker, you will receive £11.75 per hour / £22,913 per annum FTE.

As a Support Worker, you will be supporting individuals at the home who are deafblind, have visual and/or hearing impairments, complex needs, and learning disabilities. A full manual UK license and willingness to drive are required, as we need to take the people we support to do activities outside of the home.

No two days will be the same:

  • To support individuals/groups within the home, centre, and community.
  • To provide a customised, responsive, and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
  • To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
