Work with Sense and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their families. We’ll give you full training for our Support Worker roles at our Service in Edgbaston, Birmingham. This home is a residential service which is home to 5 individuals who have deafblindness and/or sensory impairments.
As a Support Worker, you will support people to live a varied and active life and enjoy being out and about. A full manual UK licence and willingness to drive is required, as you will take the people we support to activities outside of the home. You will assist with personal care needs and help people take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing.
The service is open 7 days a week, and you will be expected to work across these days including some weekends. Shift start times are: early 7:30am, mid 10am & late 2:30pm. The hourly rate is £12.50 with enhanced rates for nights, overtime and annual pay reviews. No two days will be the same.
