Looking for your next role in Social Care? We are looking for a passionate and motivated Deputy Care Manager to join our wonderful home in Glastonbury. The home is surrounded by the Somerset countryside with links to the major towns of Bristol, Bath and Taunton. Glastonbury is a lovely vibrant town with lots of attractions, making this an ideal work base for those who like adventure – as do the people we support.

As a Deputy Care Manager, your role will be split into office administrative and hands-on Support Worker shifts. This is an opportunity for you to work alongside the Registered Care Manager to help run the home. Shifts are varied across 7 days, include regular sleep ins and can be discussed further at interview.

This role in Glastonbury might include:

  • Supporting the manager in providing line management support to a team of staff
  • Creating and maintaining safe working environments in which staff can fulfil their duties
  • Contributing to the wider planning and delivery of services within the Operational Services
  • Conducting regular supervisions
  • Planning and managing the rota
  • Delivering services to KPIs set within the Operational Services
