We have a fantastic opportunity at our CQC outstanding service in Margate, as we look for our next Team Leader! This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £25,370 per annum.

Our service is home to 4 very characterful individuals with very different personalities. We believe that this is their home; we just happen to work in it, and it should feel homely and comfortable. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and great problem-solving skills, able to coach team members.
You will also need to hold a Full UK driving license to provide transport for individuals at the service. Sense supports our staff to gain skills, qualifications, and experience. We participate annually in a mentoring scheme with 11 other charities, provide a great induction, and offer plenty of training.

This role in Margate might include:
- Supporting individuals, groups, and teams within the home, center, and community.
- Providing a customized, responsive, and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical, and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
- Delivering services that meet or exceed organizational expectations and standards.
For this role in Margate, you will require:
- A full UK driving license and the ability to drive our vehicles.
- Experience or qualification in British Sign Language (BSL) or Makaton is desirable.
- You will need to be a good role model.
- Experience in mentoring, staff induction, supporting through supervisions, and creating development plans.
- Previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting.
