Looking for a new challenge in Social Care? You must hold a full manual Drivers license and be willing to drive a resident's vehicle. Fancy stepping up in care? Want to take on that extra responsibility, whilst working as part of a team? Are you caring, reliable and compassionate and want to make a difference in someone's day making it that extra bit special? We have a fantastic opportunity at our Supported Living service in Malone, Belfast area, as we look for our next Team Leader! This is a Permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week. Sense are offering Team Leaders £13.84 per hour.

This is an exciting time to come and be part of a fantastic team at an established service supporting 6 independent individuals, one of whom won Sense Person of the Year last year! As the team leader, you will be required to complete administration tasks, help lead the team of Support Workers with the support from the manager and play an active, hands-on role in providing support. You will provide this direct support alongside allocated office time.

We're looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:

  • Have previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting (desirable).
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or willing to complete one once you are in the role.
  • Willing to work alternate weekends.

This role in Malone, Belfast might include:

  • Supporting individuals/groups/teams within the home, centre and community.
  • Assisting the manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
  • Providing a customised, responsive and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
  • Delivering services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
