Looking for a new challenge? Work with Sense and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their families! We have a fantastic opportunity at our CQC outstanding service in Margate for Support Workers to join our team. This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week.
You must hold a full manual UK Driver's License and be willing to drive a Sense vehicle for this role. You don’t need any previous experience to become a support worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our part-time and full-time roles. Sense are offering a Support Worker in Margate at £12.50 per hour.
Our service is home to 4 very characterful individuals with very different personalities. We believe first and foremost that this is their home; we just happen to work in it, and it should feel homely and comfortable. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and a great problem solver able to coach members of the team.
The person-centred care at our service has helped the creative development of our garden area, helped the people we support become part of the local society, and meant they have maintained strong links with their family members. One of our people was even able to fulfil their desire of climbing the O2!
We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:

No two days will be the same. Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. Your priority will be empowering the people you support to live an independent life. This role in Margate might include supporting people with:
- Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
- Personal care and hygiene.
- Finances.
- Medication and wellbeing.
- Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
- Their social life and nightlife.
