Are you looking for a fun & rewarding role? We have an exciting new opportunity for you to join Get Our There Group in Loughborough, providing support to children between the ages of 5 and 17 with complex needs. This is a Permanent part time role, working 4 hours per week on Saturdays during the year (term time & non-term time) and the shift pattern will be 9:30am-1:30pm.
About the service
The ‘Get Out There’ Clubs provide support for children and young people who still live at home with their families. Working to promote communication skills, life skills, mobility and access to the community. We provide support for children who have a range of complex needs, including sensory losses and learning disabilities who you will be providing 1:1 support.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to children and young people with complex needs.
- Promote communication skills, life skills, mobility and access to the community.
- Join a great team of Support Workers, working well together, supporting each other and sharing ideas to provide a good support network for families.
