Sense is looking for a reliable and motivated Support Worker to join our professional team at our Supported Living Service in Holbeach, Lincolnshire. This is a permanent role with contracts available for 18 hours per week. We are offering Support Workers £13.00 per hour and full training is provided, so previous experience is not required. At this service we provide support to 8 individuals who either have autism, deafblindness or sensory/complex disabilities. Experience of using British Sign Language (BSL) or having a BSL or Makaton qualification is desirable, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Take part in a range of activities with the individuals and some who attend the Sense day centre and college.
  • Activities include bowling, ice skating, horse riding, arts and crafts, baking and cooking, going out for shopping and many more.
  • The shift patterns will vary but you will be required to work some mornings, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Full training will be provided.
  • Useful experience includes BSL or Makaton qualification, or willingness to learn.
