Could you be our next Support Worker? Come and join our Supported Living Service in Aylesford, Kent; a three-unit service where no two days are the same. We're looking for permanent Support workers to work flexibly across a variety of hours, offering £13 per hour.
The people we support have complex disabilities, sensory loss, and learning difficulties, and your role will cover every aspect of their lives; from the everyday to the memorable.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Caring, patient, and empathetic
- A positive communicator and a good listener
- Enthusiastic and willing to bring new ideas
- Adaptable and reliable across varied shifts
- Passionate about enhancing the lives of the people they support
BSL skills or knowledge of multi-sensory impairments is desirable but not essential.
This role might include supporting people with:
- Everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping
- Personal care and hygiene
- Finances and medication
- Getting out into the community for activities, trips, and work
- Their social life and independence
