We're looking for a female Care Team Leader to join our supported living service at Newton Court in Paston, Peterborough, on a full time permanent basis working 37.5 hours per week, paying 14.35 per hour (27,983 per annum). The shift pattern includes mornings, evenings, and weekends on a two week rota.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role and BSL Level 2 is desirable.

What you'll be doing:
- Supervising a team of support workers, including carrying out regular supervision sessions and appraisals
- Coaching and guiding staff to maintain the highest standards of support
- Supporting rota management and the day to day running of the service alongside the Manager
- Supporting the recruitment and induction of new team members
- Enabling the people we support to take part in meaningful activities and access their communities
- Contributing to person centred plans and guidelines, working alongside families and other professionals
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are upheld
Who we're looking for:
- Experience of working with adults with complex disabilities or sensory impairment
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role in a similar setting
- Experience of conducting supervisions and supporting with rota management
- A positive, person centred approach and a genuine commitment to empowering the people we support
- BSL Level 2 is highly desirable
