About the role

Sense is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to work 37.5 hours per week at our donation station in East Grinstead on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting time to join our team and work in our network of over 120 shops as we continue our growth programme. We are looking for someone to lead and inspire an enthusiastic team, drive standards, operational and customer service excellence – all to maximize vital income for the charity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building, training, and inspiring a team of volunteers
  • Maintaining high shop standards, product offer, and customer engagement
  • Driving stock generation and community engagement

Our shops are vital in raising brand awareness and income to support those we serve, with over four million customers annually.

Key skills and experience:

  • Self-motivated, creative, excellent communicator, and committed to charity retail
  • Experience inspiring a team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
  • Experience in retail or team leadership roles

This role requires working on Bank Holidays and weekends as needed.
