This is a 13 months fixed term contract (FTC), working 37.5 hours per week. Our service is rated Good by CQC and we have two flats where we provide support to 3 individuals who have complex needs and learning disabilities.
As a Deputy Care Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Care Manager to lead and deliver a personalized, responsive, and high-quality service to the individuals we support. You will ensure the effective management of our dedicated staff team made up of around 10 people. Your role will be divided into 2 shifts supporting as a Support Worker and 3 Admin shifts. Your duties can include:
- To support individuals/groups within the centre and community.
- You will assist the manager in the running of the service including rota, supervising, mentoring and leading the team to ensure that all shared responsibilities are fulfilled and systems maintained which guarantee compliance.
- To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
- To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
