Could you be a Sense Deputy Care Manager? Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Deputy Care Manager within our Supported Living service in Dereham, Norfolk. This is an 11 months fixed-term maternity cover until the end of February 2027, working 37.5 hours per week. As a Deputy Care Manager you will receive £30,141 per annum FTE.
At this Dereham service, we support 5 adults with complex communication needs, physical health conditions, and multi-sensory impairments. We support individuals with complex health needs. The people we support enjoy a wide variety of opportunities – such as walks, days out, dancing, and art. We encourage those we support to enjoy as much as possible to gain life skills and live full and active lives.
As a Deputy Care Manager your role will include 30 hours of office administrative tasks and 7.5 hours hands-on Support Worker shifts. Comprehensive training is provided. This is an opportunity for you to work alongside the Registered Care Manager to help run the home. You will be required to work some evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and will include some lone working.
